I work with growing companies whose business runs on technology — SaaS, e-commerce, data-heavy operations — that have outgrown their original architecture or engineering organisation. I usually come in for three to nine months to modernise the platform, improve how the team delivers, and build production AI capabilities — and unlike many fractional CTOs, I stay hands-on throughout.

What sets me apart isn’t that I advise, and it isn’t that I code. It’s that I do both: I can sit with a board on Monday and pair on a Kubernetes operator on Tuesday. That range is rare, and it’s where I’m most useful — translating strategy into systems that ship. It’s also why I build my own tools: Flywheel, an open-source GitOps dev-loop that gets a commit into a running pod in under thirty seconds, came out of exactly this work — and runs at my client engagements.
